Our Community – Local Information

Over the previous ten years St Marys, Plumpton and surrounding suburbs have seen great changes. From the boom during the late 1990′s, the implementation of the GST which also encouraged home prices to rise prior to its commencement and the Government first home buyers and first home builders grants have all been major contributors for home owners gaining more for their properties.

Western Suburbs has grown tremendously with improved roads and transport, community halls and organisations serving its residents and guests. Tourism has also boosted in the last few years as a result of the 2000 Olympics benefiting the Western Suburbs, as we now have first class international facilities with these venues at the disposal of the public.
